  • Endocrinologist, who specializes in diseases of the thyroid.
  • Endocrine surgeon, who specializes in thyroid surgery.
  • Medical oncologist, who directs treatments such as chemotherapy.
  • Radiation oncologist, who uses radiation to precisely target cancer cells, causing them to be damaged and die.
  • Pathologist, who examines tissue and fluid to look for changes in cells in order to classify a tumor’s stage and look for markers that will help your care team determine the best course of treatment for you.
