Study Status:

Active/Enrolling

Phase:

III

This study is being done to answer the following question: Is radiation given at higher doses over a shorter timeframe plus chemotherapy as good as the usual radiation and chemotherapy at preventing your bladder cancer from getting worse and avoiding bladder removal surgery? We are doing this study because we want to find out if this approach is the same as the usual approach for your bladder cancer. The usual approach for patients who are not in a study is treatment with surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Sometimes, combinations of these treatments are used. Your doctor can explain which treatment may be best for you. These treatments can reduce symptoms and may stop the tumor from growing for a few months or longer.

Are you Eligible? (Inclusion Criteria)

  • Are you 18 years of age or older? - Have you been diagnosed with bladder cancer? - Are you able to come to the clinic for regularly scheduled treatment and assessments?
