Saara Kaviany, DO

Dr. Saara Kaviany is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Attending Pediatrician in Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation at the Columbia University Medical Center in the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. Dr. Saara Kaviany was the Assistant Professor of Pediatric Stem Cell and Cellular Therapy and Clinical Director of the Comprehensive Immune Deficiency and Dysregulation Clinic at Comer Children's Hospital, University of Chicago. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University. Dr. Kaviany is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, the Children's Oncology Group, the Clinical Immunology Society, the North American Immuno-Hematology Consortium (NICER), the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (ASTCT), and the American Society for Hematology (ASH). Dr. Kaviany was recently honored with The Peter Huttenlocher Award for Scholarly Excellence, Department of Pediatrics, University of Chicago. She is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
