Overview

Dr. Beauchemin is a clinical researcher and pediatric oncology nurse practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience. Her program of research focuses on identifying and developing interventions to enhance delivery of high-quality cancer care for children, adolescents and young adults while addressing inequities in care delivery. She is an affiliated investigator of the Center for Community-Engaged Health Informatics and Data Science (CCHIDS). In her role as Scientific Co-Lead of Cancer Care Delivery Research for the Columbia University Minority-Underserved NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) and as Vice-Chair of Cancer Care Delivery Research in the Children’s Oncology Group, she develops and collaborates on national trials that study the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions to improve equitable cancer care delivery. Currently, her research focuses on designing and implementing interventions to address financial and health-related social needs during cancer treatment for adolescent and young adults with cancer.
