
Overview
Dr. Elise Desperito is board certified in diagnostic radiology and subspecializes in breast imaging. She is an associate professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an assistant attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Desperito has extensive experience in the care of women with breast cancer and specializes in breast imaging interpretation and interventional breast procedures. She serves as chief of the Division of Breast Imaging and vice chair of education for the department. Dr. Desperito is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the New York Roentgen Ray Society, and the Society of Breast Imaging.
